Description
Vintage Ceramic Cockateil Parrot On Perch Figure This Italian ceramic porcelain figure was made by Ugo Zaccagnini of Italy. It is quite large and depicts a lovely parrot or cockateil / cockatoo bird perched on a log with cherries and leaves. The parrot appears to be sqawking as I see his mouth is opened and his tongue is showing. It is a very realistic rendering and this sculpture is amazing to say the least. It is signed on the bottom with a Z with a wavy line and is numbered A627.It measures approximately 14 inches tall! It is in good condition with the exception of a few tiny nicks to the glaze. It was probably made around the mid century 1950's Eames era.
