harrym48 Store XL CLASSIC RUSSIAN PORCELAIN WERBILIKI CAMPANA URNS You are viewing a fantastic pair of Russian porcelain Werbiliki porcelain urns. I hope the photos do this stunning, museum quality pair some justice, they are certainly better in the flesh. They each feature a plethora of hand painted designs and details, including the magnificent floral panels. The colours are very vivid, the brushwork deft and intricate. These are a special work of art and in the right setting would really make a room come alive. They are of the classical campana shape and feature intricately shaped handles. The urns feature elegant handles blushed with gold leaf. The hand painted gold leaf designs are also evident at other points on the urns. Werbiliki porcelain from near Moscow in Russia became really famous after having designed and provided three complete services for the Russian Imperial court. The manufacture's ranking was now one of the best in Europe. Their technique of gilding especially earned high admiration, also their series of figural porcelain were acclaimed. We have included a close up picture of the makers stamp on the underside of the urns. They are both offered in perfect condition ready for home use right away.
