When Paul left Caithness in 1971 to set up his studio at Harland, William joined him in the new business. After Harland failed, 1974, he returned to Caithness where he stayed until setting up William Manson Paperweights Studio in 1997. William belongs to an elite group of glass artists defining the art of contemporary glass paperweights. William Manson closed his studio in 2003.   The paperweight was made in 2000. It is in MINT PERFECT condition. Approx 2-5/8” in diameter and 1-3/4” high. Signed by William Snr Manson.
