Fleming North Carolina Folk Pottery Quart Face Jug with a green/brown ash Glaze 8 1/2" Tall, Blue Eye Pupils, White Dinner Plate Teeth Hand Dug Clay, Old Greenish Brown Look Signed on the Bottom, No Damage, Top Quality Excellent Example of Catawba Valley Folk Pottery Walter Fleming is a senior N. C. Folk Potter who learned to make old-time pottery from his friend, the late B. B. Craig. His pottery has a distinctive country style and look. He digs his own clay from his property in Iredell County, pugs and forms the clay on a potter's wheel, dips and hand glazes the greenware, and fires the pottery in his kiln to 2200 degrees. Shipping is by USPS Priority Mail, and insured to the purchase price. Each shipment is bubble wrapped, and double boxed. Thanks for viewing and bidding on this nice piece of folk pottery.
