The lamp body at its widest point is about 135mm and it tapers to around 115mm at the top. It is 254mm tall. Yellow colour at the bottom of the lamp with a translucent Orange at the top. VASART GLASS often used pieces of paperweight canes around the centre of the vase where the upper and lower colours met, but the canes usually appear as vague splashes/whirls of colour, as can be seen on this lamp. There are no electrical fitments or cable with this lamp. The lifted rim on the foot allows the cable to pass underneath to enter a central hole.  The hole in the base measures approx 25x30mm. According to the book, YSART GLASS (Page 37) by Volo Edition, London, “a few examples of VASART lamps have been found with a clear glass collar fitted over the hole to prevent chafing and also to strengthen the hole”. This lamp has such a clear glass collar. This is a stunning and beautiful lamp and the colours are brilliant. (Sorry but the photographs don't do it justice!). It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks etc. Please remember that this was individually hand blown and formed. You can see from the photographs that from certain ways it stands, it appears slightly off centre, but from other photos you will see it is straight.  What a talking point/focal point this would make!
