This is the first of two similar ,very collectable American vintage Steuben flower vase, I am listing.It was designed by Goerge Thompson in 1942. Measures approx 8.5"/22cm high and is in fantastic condition - no faults.Incised signature on base.This vase has stood the test of time , and is still available today from the Steuben company at a cost of $880.00 ( approx £435.00) , see their website www.steuben.com  Can I make it clear that this and the other vase I am listing are not brand new , but have quite a bit of age to it, going by the wear on base, which is commensurate with a date of around 1960/70.It is for sale in UK and will cost approx £22.00 ($46.00) to post insured airmail worldwide , or £14.00 to Europe. When I list items that are normally for the American market , I get asked alot of times of how you pay me in pounds sterling on paypal? So if it is sold in the USA , I will email invoice in pounds sterling , but it is very simple to pay by paypal , you just click the pay now button , and it will automatically pay me in pounds sterling and deduct money from you in dollars. George Thompson For many years a senior staff designer, he joined the Steuben design department upon its formation in 1936. Born in Nebraska, he received degrees in architecture from the University of Minnesota and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1936, he won the M.I.T. Class Medal and the Boston Institute of Architects Prize. Thompson's designs were included in every Steuben Glass exhibition held from 1937 until his retirement in 1974. His works are in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; the William Rockhill Nelson Gallery, Kansas City; Palais du Louvre, Paris; and the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.
