The Terra Rose Blue is the most difficult color to find, and this one is of the red-bodied ware pieces. According to a reference guide, production of these began in 1942. The glaze is absolutely beautiful for it's color and depth. The dimensions of this piece are approximately 7" tall, 6-3/4" wide at the top of the flower. The bottom is marked Stangl and 3503 under the glaze, as well as the Stangl Terra Rose maker's mark. There are no chips or scratches. I have taken photos both with and without flash to demonstrate the softness and depth of the milk glaze and blue color glaze. A very nice addition to any Stangl collection! ***Insurance is required for this item.
