They are in great condition with no chips or damage except that 2 have slight utensil marking, and 1 has a little light crazing. The rest look like they have not even been used. The bold pattern of grapes, peach and pear is on a creamy background, and each is edged in green. The edging is intact. The back of the plates are embossed with the Salem marking. 7 say Salem American Ironstone and 1 says just Salem. These have been living in my mom's basement for at least 40 years and are of superior quality, sure not to disappoint. They will be a hit on your holiday table.
