Vintage Porcelain Salt Box w Wood Lid Royal Sealy Japan Start Price USD 9.99 Current Price USD 83.50 Time Left - Bid Count 25 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, September 04, 2008 End Time Thursday, September 11, 2008 Location Arlington, SD See more about 'Vintage Porcelain Salt Box w Wood Lid Royal Sealy Japan' Description You are bidding on a beautiful old salt box.  The container itself is made of porcelain but the hinged lid on top is wooden.  It is marked on the bottom 41/15 and has the Royal Sealy sticker on the bottom that says "Heritage" by Royal Sealy Japan.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs anywhere.  There is a little bit of corrosion on one of the nails holding the wooden lid in place but other than that the piece is near mint.  It would need to be cleaned before it was used though, of course.  It measures 5 1/2 inches tall at the back and is about 5 inches wide at the widest part.  The picture does a good job of showing the coloring and detail but please let me know if you would like to see any other pictures or if you have any questions.  Also, please check out my other auctions because I will be listing several other pieces of pottery including RS Prussia, Roseville, Hummel and a Blue Onion Salt Box!  I'm always happy to combine shipping!
