ITEM DIMENSIONS: Measures approximately 5.5-inches tall, 4.5-inches side to side as shown in photo. ITEM DESCRIPTION, CONDITION: Incredible and rare Claude Horan vase, elaborately signed on bottom and dated 1960. There is no post factory damage that I can detect. I have not tried to clean this vase, but it would benefit from proper cleaning. There is such complexity to the glaze, colors, and the actual pottery itself, just amazing work. You can easily do a google search to learn about Claude Horan and all his accomplishments (including his teaching in Hawaii)--no need for me to write an essay here because if you're considering this vase, you're already are familiar with this artist. His pieces rarely come available for auction. I've taken photos in several lighting situations including most in natural lighting. This is to show you the details of the piece. About the size of a large grapefruit, very, very heavy. Highly textured. Baking soda is neither rare, nor included in sale and is for size reference only (sorry). The only reason I am selling this incredible piece is because I do not want the responsibility that comes with preserving it.
