The piece is impress marked on its underside "Medalta Medicine Hat No. 90". It measures 9 ¼" in height, with a top diameter of 5" - it weighs 1 lb and 13 oz. It features an art deco period form with bulbous lower body, almost ball shaped, which flares out up to its top rim. It is finished in a cream flow on brown glaze - please look at the photos carefully as the cream flow has a wonderful "cloudy" patterning on the interior top of the vase. The piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - this has been very well preserved. I'm unsure of its exact age, but I would guess that it is a 1930s vintage piece.
