This urn vase has classical style, with a band of what looks to be acanthus leaves. The vase has a semi-matte rusty colored glaze. It stands just under 8 3/8 inches tall, and it is about 6 1/4 inches wide at the handles. It would be a great addition to an American art pottery collection. Condition The vase looks great, with no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Tripod stilt marks beneath are as made; drips and glaze variations are also as made.
