It is a lovely shape, with an interesting handle design. This 20th century piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. As seen in the enlarged photos, there is a 3/8" underglaze chip at the top edge. Again, this is underglaze and is clearly a manufacturing defect. Similarly, there are a couple of small imperfections in the copper lustre, around the top inside edge, also from manufacture. It measures approximately 7 1/4" to its highest point, and 9" across, from the lip to the edge of the handle. The pitcher is unmarked, but is the same design as two other Wood pieces being offered this week.
