Sitzendorf Porcelain CLOCK+URNS w/PUTTI after Meissen Start Price USD 4,875.00 Current Price USD 4,875.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, September 17, 2008 End Time Wednesday, October 08, 2008 Location Pottstown, Pennsylvania See more about 'Sitzendorf Porcelain CLOCK+URNS w/PUTTI after Meissen' Description Sitzendorf Porcelain CLOCK+URNS w/PUTTI after Meissen DescriptionWe are offering this beautiful garniture consisting of a clock, clock stand and 2 urns.  It will certainly be the highlight of any room in which you choose to display it.  I believe that the clock features putti that represent the four seasons.  The urns also feature putti and all of the pieces are heavily decorated with a variety of flowers.  This lovely set was made by the German Sitzendorf factory probably in the early 1900s.  The overall condition is very good with no major damage or repairs.  There is some minor loss and minor flakes/chips to the flowers as you would expect with pieces like this.  One of the urns has two larger sections of flower loss near the handles - there is one 1" section on the front and two 1/2" sections on the back.  I have a few loose flower pieces which will be included.  The urns appear to have been glued shut.  The putti figures on both the urns and the clock are in excellent condition.  The very tip of one fingertip is missing from the figure that sits on top of the clock.  Otherwise, all fingers and toes are intact.  While the clock does tick occasionally when the piece is moved, I don't think that it is working and I do not have the key for it.  Also, I'm not sure if the clock dial and mechanism are original to the piece.  I think it displays beautifully with the decorated paper in place over the dial - but it would also be fantastic to use if you had the clock serviced.  Here are the approximate measurements: The clock on the stand measures 22.5 inches high.  The clock by itself is 19.5 inches high, 11.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep.  The clock stand is 13 inches wide and 9 inches deep.  The urns are each 16 inches high and 10 inches wide.  All pieces are marked.  Please see photos for details.  All photos can be enlarged by clicking on them.  I included a coke can in the last photo above to give you an idea of the size.  I also added some additional photos below because I was limited to 24 photos above.Insurance is required and is already included in the shipping cost.  These pieces will be packed with extreme care.  Please email me with any questions.  Check my feedback and buy with confidence.Note: This item has been relisted due to a non-paying bidder.  ShippingWe do not charge a handling fee.
