If this is not acceptable then please do not bid. This is a Large Shadow Box made of 1970's PETE LEWIS pansy parts. The pansy flowers depicted are fairly representative of the pansy degigns that Pete used in his glass paperweights. Included are a red bud and a long stem white bud. As you can see one of his "PL" signature canes is included and well as a couple of his pears and plumbs hanging from the side of the "pot" from witch the three pansies grow. The pot is made of a filigree torsade made by Pete, but the green inside the pot is green glass frit. This one is an 8 by 10 inches in size with a dark brown frame. and the mounted parts set back about an inch from the top grass in the frame. Comes ready to hang on your wall. The title on this one is "Hazy, Hot & Humid". Pete Lewis retired from glass paperweight making in the late 1970's. He has graciously made his parts available to me to assembel shadow boxes of his parts to be sold for the benefit of Wheaton Arts in Millville, New Jersey. All proceeds from the sale wll go to Wheaton Arts. Similar shadow boxes were made for the Paperweight Fest in May 2008 at Wheaton and sold for about $50 above the starting bid for comparable boxes. I took it out of the frame to photograph to get better detail and reduce reflection. I can post a picture of the frame itself if that is important. Pete's parts have pretty much been exhausted by the boxes now being offered and this opportunity will not repeat itself.
