Sascha Brastoff Pottery 2pc Set Plate Divided Serving Start Price USD 39.88 Current Price USD 39.88 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, September 28, 2008 End Time Tuesday, October 28, 2008 Location Decatur IL See more about 'Sascha Brastoff Pottery 2pc Set Plate Divided Serving' Description Sascha Brastoff Pottery 2pc Set Plate Divided Serving   This is a beautiful set of rare Sascha Brastoff pottery serving dishes.  It includes a plate and a divided serving bowl.  The bowl would be great to serve dips and garnishes.  The plate for crackers or bread for the dips or spreads.  These are glazed pottery pieces and are smooth to the touch.  The bottom of the bowl, where it sits upon the plate, is bare for a better grip to reduce sliding.These pieces have swirls of purple and gold.  The purples range in color from almost gray to very light and airy.  Made by: Sascha Brastoff (back stamped) In California USA.The plate measures 10 1/2" in diameter.  It's rim raises 1" off of the table.The serving dish measures 10" x 8".  The rim of the bowl is 2" off of the table.  The handle stands 3 1/4" off of the table.  The bowl has 3 compartments.  They are divided by a slight raise in the pottery.The entire piece has a bubbled feel to it, with raised ripples all around.There are not any chips or cracks in these pieces.The design is clear and vivid.The bottoms do have minimal signs of wear from use and storage.We suggest shipping insurance for this set, we are not responsible for items damaged in shipment.  We package well and label the items fragile.  We have found it's better to be safe then sorry when shipping items through the mail.
