It was issued in a small numbered edition to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Moorcroft Collectors' Club. The design is an atmospheric representation of the industrial lanscape of the Potteries, with smoking bottle kilns interspersed with brightly coloured flowers. This vase is number of 147 of the edition. The base has Moorcroft impressed marks and a special Bottle Oven backstamp inscribed MCC 20.It has also been signed under the glaze by the designer, Emma Bossons. This substantial vase measures 9¼ inches tall and 6¼ inches wide. This piece is marked second quality with a red dot on the base.However, like many Moorcroft seconds the quality and workmanship is excellent.
