It is marked with the typical Rowe marks on the side and a raised BJ. This pitcher has a lovely handpainted cobalt bird on the side. It comes with a round ball lid that has two holes on each side-don't know if that is original to the piece or it's missing something. The previous owner said she acquired it that way. I was just informed by a very knowledgeable Ebayer that this is a pitcher oil lamp. The top is supposed to hold a wick, which is missing, but the top is  original to the lamp. It is approx. 6" tall by 4" across. It's in great condition-no chips or cracks, has manufacturing flaw by handle. I have a mug in a separate auction. Email for pics or questions.
