(Paris, Tennessee). This is huge standing at 23 1/2 inches tall and has a width of 11 inches, opening at the top is nearly 4 inches. Very rare and not mass produced. I have included a portion of an online article which describes the Line of Terraceware stoneware pottery. A description of this line of Terraceware pottery has only recently been discovered.   "An interesting recent discovery in a trade journal shows "The Royal Hickman Collection" called "Terraceware" produced by Russell Potteries, Inc. (Paris, Tennessee). This outstanding collection of large garden stoneware was noteworthy for its crystal glazes applied to stoneware. These handmade pieces ranged in size from 19" to 26" tall. While some shapes were traditional, like the oil jar, others were innovative Hickman forms. Of particular interest to modernists."   This is undamaged and could be considered near fine to fine condition. Clearly marked on the bottom : "Royal Hickman, Terraceware, Made by Russell Potteries Co. Inc, Paris Tennessee." Also has the title or description name of the glaze handwritten on the bottom. It is marked : " Watermellon Split".
