The bases are brass that have a nice vintage patina.  They measure 18" to the top of the shade, and 22 1/2" to the top of the tall hurricane globes. They work on three-way switches, lighting the top only, the bottom only, or both at the same time. They are both in what I call excellent condition. The only thing that might be not perfect is a very small spot on one of the shades that looks like a manufacture defect. (Please see the last picture shown. No other defects or damage that I can find They were manufactured by Fenton in the mid 1960's for The Ruby Company. Very Pretty when lit. (I just could not capture the picture of them lit due to the many light glares) i They are listed in "The Fenton Rarities 1940-1985 by John Walk, and also in several other Fenton Books, including Art and Glass Patterns 1939-1980 Second Addition by Margaret & Ken Whitmyer (Where one Lamp is listed for $500-$600.
