The pottery is 21.4 (54 cm) inches tall and 11 inches at widest points. The pottery vase has a yellow base with a sublime, drip glaze. The crackled glaze has an irridescent finish. The piece fits perfectly into the oeuvre of Ramie which was distinguished by simple refined modern shapes. This piece is probably from the late 40's / early 50's when she was working with traditional glaze techinques. This piece is especially nice and is unusually large.
