Description
Please have a look at my Me page next to my username to find more high end porcelain on my own site!! For auction is a rare coffee set designed by Melchior and dating to about 1820. Even though I show only one cup & saucer in the pic there are four cups and saucers as well as the sugar, creamer and coffee pot as part of the set. Handpainted on an orangy beige background with gold stars and figural handles and spouts. Marked with the impressed shield mark of around 1820 as well as various incised marks. The set is in super condition. Sugar lid is missing, tiny restoration to spout of pot that can not be seen with the naked eye, one hairline crack to a saucer, and the finial on the lid of the coffee pot is reglued. The cups are 3 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter, the saucers are 1 inch tall and a bit over 5 inches in diameter, the creamer is 6.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter, the sugar is 4.25 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter and the coffee pot is 9.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter. None of these measurements include the handles or spouts! This is a very rare set to find and in super condition. A very nice piece that would make a great addition to any collection. Porzellan Porcelaine Paypal for international bidders only unless otherwise discussed. I will send a separate invoice via Paypal if needed. Shipping is 15 Dollars including insurance (Continental US). My shipping costs are all entered into Ebay and they are flat fees. I won't change them and if you don't like them - don't bid. Fairly simple really. Sometimes I gain most times I loose on them. I combine shipping as much as I can do safely. I ship airmail only and it should be pretty fast but sometimes it takes up to ten weeks and I have no control over that. Usually it is stuck in customs. I would like an email from the winning bidder within three days if at all possible! I ship internationally and like money orders and personal checks the best. It takes a bit longer but is a lot less costly to me. I pack very safely so no worries there! I can accept Paypal if need be as well. E-mail me with any questions or concerns. I also understand that more pictures might be helpful so just ask. I will write back for sure (but don't wait till last minute). Money back guarantee for valid reasons but items are not new and in some cases 200 years plus old so keep that in mind. I also have for auction some Meissen pieces , KPM , Nymphenburg , Sevres , Vienna , Dresden , and some English pieces like Worcester and Staffordshire , etc. Something for everyone - just have a peek at the other auctions. Thanks for taking the time to look at my stuff! Hope you enjoyed the show :)
