Description
Please have a look at my Me page next to my username to find more high end porcelain on my own site!! For auction is a cup and saucer made by KPM around 1780. KPM used no painters mark like the red orb yet during this period thus you only have the blue scepter and impressed marks most of the time. It is handpainted with a monogram of the letter H held up by two angels which are handpainted with superb detail. Two small flower arrangements to the sides of the cup and a branch type handle. The angels are super but the trim of a puce and gold design is the icing on the cake. I think this is KPM's most expensive rim decor and it is rarely seen. The saucer has the same trim and three floral arrangements plus in the center well two doves in the clouds with what looks like a holder full of arrows. The set is in super condition. Tiny amount of wear to the gold ring around the saucer well and the rim of the saucer. A small glaze chip to the outside saucer rim and a small 0.5 inch hairline. The cup has a small chip to the footring. The first 0.25 inches from rim down inside the cup are unglazed. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter and the cup has a gold 10. underneath as well. A very nice piece that would make a great addition to any collection. Porzellan Porcelaine Tasse Untertasse Paypal for international bidders only unless otherwise discussed. I will send a separate invoice via Paypal if needed. Shipping is 15 Dollars including insurance (Continental US). My shipping costs are all entered into Ebay and they are flat fees. I won't change them and if you don't like them - don't bid. Fairly simple really. Sometimes I gain most times I loose on them. I combine shipping as much as I can do safely. I ship airmail only and it should be pretty fast but sometimes it takes up to ten weeks and I have no control over that. Usually it is stuck in customs. I would like an email from the winning bidder within three days if at all possible! I ship internationally and like money orders and personal checks the best. It takes a bit longer but is a lot less costly to me. I pack very safely so no worries there! I can accept Paypal if need be as well. E-mail me with any questions or concerns. I also understand that more pictures might be helpful so just ask. I will write back for sure (but don't wait till last minute). Money back guarantee for valid reasons but items are not new and in some cases 200 years plus old so keep that in mind. I also have for auction some Meissen pieces , KPM , Nymphenburg , Sevres , Vienna , Dresden , and some English pieces like Worcester and Staffordshire , etc. Something for everyone - just have a peek at the other auctions. Thanks for taking the time to look at my stuff! Hope you enjoyed the show :)
