ROYAL DOULTON VASE Highland Cattle by BERESFORD HOPKIN Royal Doulton VASE Hand painted HIGHLAND CATTLE , Signed C. BERESFORD HOPKINS, Stinton Era. A magnificent hand painted piece, heavily gilt on border and base, as pictured. The scene features typical cows in a misty marshy ground, the detail is exquisite. Date: Circa 1900.- Signed: "C. BERESFORD HOPKINS" Marked: ROYAL DOULTON - Impressed Number "1 1 3 9" Dimensions: Tall 9 inches (23.5 cm) Diameter Top 2 1/8 inches (5.5 cm) Diameter base 3 1/8 inches (8 cm) Condition: In VERY GOOD condition. Inside the border vase, it has a hairline, marked in the pictures with red color. No chips, cracks or other damage. Perfect gold gilt work.
