This charger was made in 1937 to celebrate Princess Juliana’s wedding to Prince Bernhard. It has the date 7 Januari 1937, the Royal crown, ‘J’ & ‘B’ interwoven, the 2 Royal coats-of-arms, and oranges around the border, symbolic of course of The Royal House of Orange. The charger is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or hairlines. It measures 13 inches in diameter (33cm). It is marked on the reverse ‘Juliana Bernhard bord’ (Juliana Bernahrd plate), No.35 and Schoonhoven Holland. It does hang. A wonderful addition to your Dutch Royal collection. Very rare.
