PARAMOUNT CLASSICS PICKARD CHINA COLLECTOR PLATES Up for bid is a commerative plates set of Queen Victoria and King George III with a limited edition of 5000 sets made. These plates are both numbered 333/5000.  These 30 year old plates which was produced in 1977,are in mint condition and will come shipped in the original box.  The winning bidder will receive the actual plates seen in the photos.     These were issued as part of the Paramount Classics Series and comes in a double solid book type box and is dark red pebbled leatherette looking.  Inside the plate is cradled in a felt lined bowl and inside the front lid of the box is a white silk panel with gold lettering. These are beautiful china plates with a painting of 4 strikingly distinctive poses Young,Veiled,Gothic and Jubillee cameos of Queen Victoria and Young,Old,Laureate and Bull cameos of King George III.  Surrounded by gold accents border with a gold edge.  On the plates back it reads" A Limited Edition of 5000" and "Paramount Classics" numbered 333!!  A very classy looking package!  The plates are 10" in diameter and about 3/4"' tall and in terrific condition.  The boxes measure 13 1/4" square and 2" thick.  There is very minimal signs of storage and are in great overall condition.
