Bay Area See more about 'Pair of Boehm Mergansers in Case' Description This Pair of  Hooded Mergancers were made circa 1968.  They were made by Edward Boehm who was a master at molding bisque figures.  This allowed the subjects to be painted in very  highly detailed colors .  Accomplishing a life like appearance. Only 333 pairs of th birds were issued world wide.  Boehm figures were presented to the Pope in Rome and many of the Crowned Heads of Europe.  These birds were produced just before Edward Boehm passed away.  These figures are about the size of pidgeons  They are house in a plastic case and the dimensions are 31-1/2 inches in length by 18 inches wide and is 13-1/4 inches in height.  Both B.irds are in excellent condition free of any chips,cracks, paint losses or repairs of any kind Place a Bid!
