I'm told they are from the 1960's and are often referred to as "Cage Blown Pendant Lamps". They are made of a brass pear form cage encasing hand blown glass forming protruding bubbles. The glass is thick and as a result, the lamp is heavy. The original green and gold foil labels which says "GENUINE VENETIAN GLASS MADE IN MURANO ITALY" are still adhered to each of the lamps. The lamps are NOT wired but they have a chain attached to the top which I'm told is a thread that could be quite simply and inexpensively used to wire them if you wanted to... Measurements: Each lamp is approx 18" tall x approx 34" in circumference at the widest middle part.... Condition: Both lamps are in very good condition overall. There is some rust on the metal, but there are no cracks, chips or damage to the glass. ** If you are interested in just one lamp, we're open to splitting the pair.
