This approxiatley 170 year old plate, could be older, features an oriental couple conversing while he is in a tree or rooftop with a fish detail on the roof edge?, she is pointing at him with her fan, unusual temple in the background. If anyone knows this pattern and or company information would be appreciated. This beauty has no chips, no cracks, no hairlines, no glazing problems, little to no wear. There is a micro thin cut line in the glaze only on the bottom only, I only know this because the dirt has settled in the line. Background off white color is clean, and bright, back is completely clean, with a "France" backstamp, and an impressed "6" and a swirl, an "R", and a handpainted orange "O". Plate is 8" across.
