It is a small piece, 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. Most of these vases commonly seen are crimped in about an inch from the top and flared out like the one shown in David Peterson's book, "Vaseline Glass: Canary to Contemporary" as Item# 755. The author notes on page 198 however that, "The vases can be found with different shapes for the top rim." This vase is unusual in that it has no crimp at all, and just a little flare.There is the tiniest of chips (the glass is still intact and not missing) on one of the ribs of the vase that you really have to look for.
