Description
Niloak Hywood Art Pottery PitcherThis auction is for a nice Niloak Hywood Art Pottery Pitcher that measures 4 inches high to the top of the lip and 4 ¼ inches across the lip to the handle. There are no chips or cracks although the glaze appears to have run during the dipping and / or glazing process. The pitcher appears to have a green and wine matt glaze that may be called Ozark Dawn. I believe this pitcher came from the 1933 Century of Progress where Lewis Hyten spent a month demonstrating the pottery technique in the Arkansas building of the hall of states. The person who purchased this small pitcher wrote “Chicago’s Worlds Fair 1933” on the bottom in pencil.Review the pictures and Email any questions.Purchaser pay actual cost of shipping to you zip code.We accept Pay Pal, and postal money order for immediate shipment, or will ship after your personal check clears.
