This is the green drip over peachskin which has the terrific rust highlites showing through around the rim at the top. This piece is shown on page 87 of the Muncie Pottery book by Rans & Eckelman (1999 edition), and is shape #100-8". This terrific vase has a high gloss glaze and is clearly marked 4-D on the base. It has a light and consistent crazing all around (not uncommon for high-gloss glazes such as this) which reminds me of the high gloss Chinese porcelain pieces from way way back. The colors are excellent and the gloss finish really makes it glow. There are no dings or cracks at all. A really beautiful piece of the desirable Peachskin line from the short-lived Arts & Crafts pottery company in the little town of Muncie Indiana.
