A wonderful eBayer has found the pattern number for me. His name is Ron and I thank him so much!! I am guessing at the age c 1930's because I found a very similar pattern from 1933 and another kind eBayer told me her set, exactly like mine came from her grandmother before WW II. Thanks again Ron! Pattern # N135 YELLOW & TAN EDGE, FLORAL SPRAYS, CREAM This is a large vintage set of Noritake c 1933 (I think). The pattern above is NOT the same as the pattern in this auction. It is very close but after many hours of searching I can not find this exact pattern. The pattern above is so close I thought it was the correct one at first. It was just a case of hoping past reality. For instance, my pattern has 3 flowers in the spray, not 2 and in different colors. The inside ring on mine is heavier. The gold scrollwork around the rim is pretty heavy in both patterns and very similar. Both have a white center surrounded by cream. This set is in very nice condition especially considering the age. I bought this about 10 years ago and never used it even once. I am guessing the last owner let it sit a lot as well going by the wonderful condition. Included are- 12- 10" Dinner Plates 12- 2 1/8" X 3 5/8" Cups 10- 5 1/2" Saucers 11- 7 1/2" Dessert Plates 10- 7 1/4" Soup Bowls 12- 6 1/4" Bread Plates 11- 5 1/8" Fruit/Nappy Bowls 1- 16" X 12" Large Platter 1- 11 3/4" X 8 3/4" Small Platter 1- 8 1/4" Round 2 Handled Open Serving Bowl 1- 10" X 8" Oval Serving Bowl~ Gold Handles 2- Salt and Pepper Shakers. These are not the same pattern but they came with this set. 1- 3 1/3" Creamer 1- 4 1/2" Covered Sugar ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total 86 Pieces There are also 4 pieces you will see in the pictures sitting on a chair. The fruit bowl was broken and glued back togetherand the other 3 items have a chip. You are welcome to them if you want them. I am not that knowledgable about china patterns so maybe one of my brilliant eBayer will know what this pattern is! It's elegant, ornate and formal. You'll love it. ABOUT SHIPPING....................... My aim is to give my customer the best shipping at the best price with proper insurance if and when it's needed. Just to give you an idea of shipping costs, to ship 2 boxes for safety this item from here in south Florida to Hollywood California would be about $100.00 UPS OR LESS including insurance for each box for this auction only (AGAIN, THESE ARE ESTIMATES NOT THE SHIPPING COST. If you live closer to Florida these p[rices would probably be less. My guess is usually higher than the exact figure which will be on your invoice. Please do not pay until you receive an invoice with the exact fIgure. I will not take advantage of my customers by using one high shipping figure for all buyers no matter where they are located when a lower figure is probably more honest.
