The Owner had lots of very fine Glassware and Collectables. I purchased as much as possible to pass on to you. I will list below Market Value and sell with NO Reserves. (Nippon refers to Japanese items made during the period from 1891 - 1921.) In this auction you will recieve TWO Covered Bowls with Under Plates. The very thin fine china will be a washed white and trimmed in Cobalt Blue with raised gold filgree on all edges. Each piece of this set is hand painted. The Beauty of these are striking! The Bowls are handled with matching underplates. Each Bowl will be marked as Hand Painted NIPPON. (Photos attached) All pieces are hand painted with raised gold relief depicting scrolls and leaves. Very collectible. "Hand Painted Nippon" stamped on the bottom! The handled Bowls measure 2 3/4" tall and 4 1/4" in diameter without the Lids. With the Lids inplace, each measures near 5". The Under Plates measure 6" in diameter and stand 1" tall. A very elegant combination! Their Condition will be Flawless...Perfect! I see no damages to report. Seem to have been collected and stored..no usage showing. No Gold missing, no chips, flea bites or anything to take away from their beauty. Original Luster remains! The True Color will be shown in the closeups. My antique camera just fails to show their actual color from a distance. Next, I have included the matching Cup and Saucer. I have included these due to being a part of the set but not selling them, I am adding them into the Set for Free. They are beautiful but there is a very, very small repair on lip of the saucer. You really have to feel for it to find it. Then, under very bright light, I see a hairline crack on one side of the cup....outside, not inside. Can not see unless under a bright light.
