MONMOUTH WESTERN STONEWARE RARE EGYPTIAN JARDINIERE Start Price USD 14.50 Current Price USD 21.03 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, September 01, 2008 End Time Monday, September 08, 2008 Location Fort Lauderdale, Florida See more about 'MONMOUTH WESTERN STONEWARE RARE EGYPTIAN JARDINIERE' Description A rare and lovely Egyptian pattern jardiniere/bowl from Western Stoneware Co., in Monmouth, Illinois.  Circa 1927.  The Egyptian line has a beautiful dark brown pattern on a matte tan background; the interior of the bowl is glazed with a glossy dark brown.    This jardiniere is very clean, including the interior.  The bowl is in very good condition, with no cracks, flakes, repairs or other damage, as far as I can determine.   There are 2 glaze skips (1/4" and 1/8") on the interior of the jardiniere, and 3 glaze 'rubs' on the rim.   There are 2 small chips on the base.   The bowl measures 7” in diameter at the top, 4” high and 8 1/2" in diameter at its widest point.  It is clearly marked Western Stoneware Company, Monmouth, ILL. on the bottom of the bowl (see photo).     Domestic (US) Shipping:  Domestic Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail.  We will happily combine shipping whenever possible.   Most items ship within 48 hours of payment completion.   Insurance on domestic shipments is optional but highly recommended – We are not responsible for uninsured items damaged/lost in transit.   International Shipping:  We gladly ship our products internationally and typically ship internationally every week.  We will offer you a choice between airmail and surface shipping.  We are not, though, responsible for lost packages.  Please note that we have never sent a package that has been lost, but we are also aware that overseas shipments, particularly to certain countries, cannot be guaranteed.  Again, please remember that international shipments are not returnable.
