Lovely Purinton 1940s Pink Shooting Star Vase Start Price USD 14.99 Current Price USD 14.99 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, November 17, 2008 End Time Wednesday, December 17, 2008 Location Green Bay See more about 'Lovely Purinton 1940s Pink Shooting Star Vase' Description rebecca7 Store Payment | Shipping Lovely Purinton 1940s Pink Shooting Star Vase Click to view supersized image Click to view supersized image Click to view supersized image This is a lovely antique Vase or Urn made by the Purinton Pottery Company of Ohio USA between 1941 and 1959, in an Art Deco squared, pinch top design and decorated with Purinton's "Shooting Star" slip ware pattern.  The flowers are a rose mauve pink, with brown stems and green leaves, on a creamy ivory beige pottery background.  Very compatible with Watt Pottery of the same era.   It is 6" tall and 5" across the top, and in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or stains.  It has one small 1/8" glaze scrape under the bottom edge (not a chip). The interior needs cleaning, but the exterior is fine.  I can't find any finish crazing under a bright light. As the photos show, this vintage piece would be beautiful on display in your home.  It would also make a wonderful gift.Please view my other beautiful items currently up for auction.
