MAC for Zuie McCorkle who worked for the Ravenswood Studios 1905-1910. (see photo of twig bottom right).  She is known for her well executed florals in stylized and Art Nouveau patterns. Thanks to a fellow E-Bay member who identified this signature.   Beautiful gold rimmed 8 ¾” plate.  There is a l/4” gold rim with gold scrolling underneath.  The plate is in shades of beige with accents of blue and green.  The flowers are exquisitely detailed and hand-painted.  There are three white roses in full bloom and one in bud with shades of greenery.  The stems are brown with thorns.  Each flower has applied gold on the yellow centers, around some edges and the veins of the leaves.    There are no chips or cracks.  The plate was used so there are several knife scratches.  There is gold wear to the edge. There are some pockmarks.  There are some applied gold accents worn or missing.   There is also a deep dimple near the rim on the very bottom of the base (see photo of logo).    Bears two backstamps.  The Pickard Art Studio of Chicago mark is the early double circle mark identified with the Ravenswood Studio.  The Limoges Mark is Limoges over a straight line which is Mark 2 on page 400 (after 1890) according to M.
