This is a lovely example of one of his early works as denoted by the "candy cane" signature he used from 1918 - 1921. This piece is a Cameo vase and is somewhat of a transitional piece. It shows flowing vines and leaves in subtle earthtones in an Art Nouveaux style, as well as brilliant sunburst oranges against mottled yellows and the distinctive geometric shapes to the fauna for a hint of an Art Deco appearance. Just an absolutely beautiful piece to add to any art glass collection Rich in both Artistry and History. The piece has no flaws what so ever. No chips , cracks, hair lines or damage of any kind.
