This brown and white transfer platter depicts long legged wading birds in a lush Oriental forest with creepers. This reflects the English love of both nature and exoticism.  In effect, it continued the English Victorians love of Chinoiserie in a newer form. The transfer is in a medium brown.  The pattern name is INDIAN. The platter measures 16” x 12” and is an oval shape. The condition is excellent – pristine clean with no chips, cracks, crazing, etc. The mark on the back includes the trademark Beehive symbol, with the initials DB & Co.       Each and every question deserves a quick response!
