It has two handles and a top. The top is permanently affixed and the center hole has been roughly broken all round the top. I don't think this would cause a problem if attaching a light fixture. There is no other damage. There in a hole for the lamp cord to exit. It stands 12 1/2" tall and the top is 6" across. The glaze is transparent lead showing the beautiful red North Carolina clay. I was told it was Jugtown but can't say for sure. It very much looks like the early Jugtown transparent lead glaze. It weighs around 13 pounds before packing.
