DESCRIPTION: Gray's Pattern #8311 (Made in 1929)           reference:  Bryn Youds - Susie Cooper/An Elegant Affair Hand-painted multi-banded pattern - bright yellow, light grey, emerald green, blue and black     Both pieces have identical banding and are a matching set Colors are bold and bright - glaze is shiny   MEASUREMENTS: OPEN SUGAR BOWL is 3 1/2" (9 cm) wide (at widest part) x 1 5/8" (4 cm) tall.  Has 2 7/8" (7cm) opening at the top  CREAMER/JUG is 4 1/4" (11 cm) wide (end of spout to end of handle) x 2" (5 cm) tall   BOTH PIECES HAVE THE SAME MARKINGS  AS FOLLOWS (I took picture of mark on creamer/jug for this auction): Has "Hand-Painted - the Liner Logo -  Gray's Pottery - Hanley England - Designed by Susie Cooper Has number 4311 in black hand-written letters under glaze (see picture of back stamp) CONDITION: BOTH PIECES ARE IN EXCELLENT  condition Have no chips - no cracks - no hairlines - no usage marks - NO COLOR OR PATTERN LOSS I only see one very tiny "fleck" on blue band of sugar bowl Have very light "clean" crazing that is only noticeable under magnifying glass & bright light Clean inside of both pieces - having no staining.  Both look never used! Note:  Look at matching cup/saucer sets that I have on Ebay now.    Look at other Susie Cooper specialty pieces that are listed this week.
