Co. a silver company that operated in Sag Harbor, Long Island from 1895-1928 before being bought by Gorham.  LOETZ is a prized art glass manufacturer from the Bohemian region of Germany.  5" tall, this vase is in excellent condition for its age -  no chips, cracks or repairs.  The sterling is tight, finely worked with hallmarks.  The base of the vase has the distinctive highly polished pontil and numbered "11"  as is characteristic of these pieces. Based on these features along with other research I feel this vase is unsigned LOETZ.  This piece is from a fine new jersey estate and no doubt the owner delighted in it!
