BOWL d.1953' Description Up for auction is this studio pottery bowl designed/thrown by Laura Andreson (1902-1999). Laura Andreson was a renowned American studio potter and teacher. In 1934 she established the ceramics program at UCLA. She taught at UCLA for 36 years till her retirement in 1970. She continued to make pottery till her death in 1999. Bowl measures 4 3/8" diameter by 2 7/8" deep. Marked on bottom with incised mark "Laura Andreson 1953". Bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks. There is one small glaze chip/flake on foot (see picture). Other than the stated chip/flake there is no other damage. I prefer to ship USPS Priority Mail insured, but I will ship any way winning bidder requests. Shipping costs below are estimates only.
