The potters making glazed, black pottery made this typical low land town famous.   This piece was purchased from the potter's house in Karcag in the early 1970's.  There is an artist signature which I am not sure of, looks like "Kautor Karcag." Very light paint flaking on the rim, unnoticeable when hung. Plate was crafted with two holes in back for hanging on the wall.   U.S. Buyer pays 9.00 shipping w/tracking.
