I say each German Porcelain Manufactury has specialized in an item. For example, Augarten does the best Lipizzaners, Keramos and Goldscheider make the best Art Deco. Hutschenreuther and Rosenthal are wonderful with dishes. However, the most detailed and most beautiful figurines come from Kaiser, one of the oldest porcelain manufacturies still in existence.Here is a statue of a French Imperial General from the Imperial Staff. He measures 9" in height An exquisite piece The bottom carries the Kaiser mark and the signature of Bochman as well as the name "General Massenat"It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
