Johnny Rolf met her future partner Jan de Rooden in 1956. They established a studio in Amsterdam in 1958. She is self-taught (autodidact). Johnny Rolf was awarded the ‘Contour Prize Porceleyne Fles’ in 1964, won a Minister’s Prize in Faenza, Italy, in 1966, and several Dutch Government grants. Her work is represented in many international collections and museums. This beautiful porcelain example we offer is in excellent condition with no damage or restorations and dates from the 1960's.
