Below is a little history of the makers of this china i copied from the net.No one but the British can make china as wonderful as this! makes me proud to say i'am a British John Aynsley and Sons LTD. was founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 1775. The prosperous china company that has now been in business for over 200 years grew from a small fledgling pottery that originated as a hobby! John Aynsley's grandson, John Aynsley II, introduced fine bone china production to the pottery in the mid 19th century. The immediate success of Aynsley's fine china resulted in the building of a separate factory in 1861 built solely for manufacturing the new wares. That factory, known as the Portland Works, is still at the center of the manufacturing base of operations in Stoke-on-Trent today.  Aynsley's current product lines include fine tableware, gift ware and bone china flowers. Royal families and heads of state around the world have chosen Aynsley for their tables. Aynsley is now part of a large tabletop wares group that includes the beautiful Belleek porcelain from Ireland, and fine Galway crystal. The "Cottage Garden" pattern is one of Aynsley's all time popular patterns If your a collector of fine item then this set is for you!!To see the other items in this pattern please click below Check out my other items! We combine shipping, if you buy more than 1 auction, please wait to pay you pay actual shipping + ins + packing supply's fee. I leave feedback when the transaction is complete.  By complete, I mean that the buyer has received the item and is satisfied with the transaction, or in the event of a problem, the buyer has worked with me for a satisfactory resolution.  For a smooth transaction, the easiest way for a buyer to let me know that they have received and item and they are satisfied is to leave feedback.  A buyer can also let me know via email through the eBay message system.  I will leave feedback as soon as possible after that. Their has been a lot of miscommunication from ebay to buyers and sellers regarding the DSR or STAR ratings.  Whether you buy from me or not, please take the time to review the following guide  in order for buyers and sellers to meet on common ground with the stars and what their ratings mean. http://reviews.ebay.com/WHAT-DSR-RATING-SHOULD-I-LEAVE-A-SELLER_W0QQugidZ10000000007671961
