The use of any trademark, brand name or product in our auction is not intended to suggest that the company, trademark or brand is affiliated or endorses this auction.   Original Painting by Violet Parkhurst    Horse & Kitten       The painting itself not including the frame or border frame is approximately 24" Long x 18 Tall   Painted on canvas and then streatched over what appears to be artist board.     CONDITION:    The center of the painting is bowed a bit meaning if you were to lay it flat the center is raised or bowed upwards just a bit. (I have not made any attempts to flaten it out)   The canvas itself has no rips, no wrinkles or sun fading. There are a few tiny pin head sized spots that upon close inspection look like tiny paint bubbles that had air trapped behind them which eventually poped exposing the canvas. These are not holes, scratches or abraisions.      I have no history other than it has hung in our guest house for as long as I can remember.  There was a piece of paper on the back written in my grandparent's handwriting which amoung other things stated that the artist name is Violet Parkhurst.   Upon research I have found that most of her works were simply signed "PARKHURST" in a distinctive script which is identical to the signature on this piece.       If you wish to have any additional pictures or have any particular question's that I have not addressed above please feel free to ask.   Shipping: USPS Insured Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation: FREE     Item's are shipped within 48 hours from receipt of payment.   Since you are unable to handle the item we try to provide clear pictures of our merchandise.
