Lovely J & G Meakin, England, Classic White Coffee Pot in Fleur-de-lis Pattern. The Pot is in pristine condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.  The lid, unfortuneately, looks as if the knob has been glued back on to it.  I bought this at an Estate Sale and thought I had a perfect specimen until I got back home.  The lid had a big piece of tape over it to hold it onto the pot.  When I removed the tape I could see this hairline crack on the back side base of the knob.  The great part is that it is not very noticeable and since the crack is on the back side of the knob, you can't see it when you position the pot with the handle right side facing. The gold accents and pattern are in wonderful condition.   Bottom has all the Hallmarks.  Please email me if you need the picture of the bottom. According to one of the china replacement companies, this pattern is circa 1969.  Their site had a Fleur-De Lis chipped coffee pot for sale and they were asking $48.00 for it.   I think that is too much!  Hence, I am asking only $36.00 and you can make me an offer if you think that is too much! BUYER TO PAY S & H CHARGES I pack very well, using lots of bubble wrap and air packets.  Still, I would recommend Insurance so that your investment is covered.  No one sees how these packages are handled even when they are marked fragile!
