Strong tiles, depicting a wild, dream-like river scene. The colors are a tremendous mix of mostly greens and blues. Please also note the slivered moon that illuminates the river. I believe this to be Strong at his best. The panel all together contains 6 tiles, each 6 inches square, so the complete panel measures 3 feet long. The frame is original to the piece and has no damage, and the tiles are in perfect condition-some grazing can be seen. The original studio label is still affixed to the reverse. I have 2 other Harris G. Strong tile panels up for auction right now, and as they were more than likely made as a set, please take a look.
